Please answer the question above.

The changes mentioned are:
Sectional forums moved inside the general board
The addition of the Programme Planning, Activities & Camps and Computer and Internet boards
The removal of the Upload Arena board (due to it not being used)

If you would like to add any feedback, post it below.

not sure about having them as sub-forums

Agree.

i think having sub-forums makes the main page tidier - maybe if the "General" name was changed to something else, like "Programme Sections"?

The reason I have put the sectional forums in general is because I wanted to add more specific forums for things like programme planning and camping, but it would have looked bad having them mixed up with the sectional forums and the scouting section would have too many forums in it.

Basically its more organized, ill explain:

Anything about scouting in general goes in General forum, and anything to do with a specific section goes in the sections general forum.
2007 discussions go in 2007, Programme planning goes in programme planning, and discussions on camping and activities goes in the outdoor activities and camping forum as these cover all the sections.

I know its all strange at the moment, because I have changed things around so its only a matter of time, before we all get used to it. Im still getting used to it too, and I was the one that re-arranged them!

I still think we should limit the number of forums we have until we have more members. As it is at the moment there are few enough posts for most of us to read them all, regardless of forum and having to keep clicking through to one then the next is a bit of a waste of time. I mean we've got 6 entire forums which each have less than 10 topics in at the moment! I reckon scrap them (or subforum them) for the time being and bring the section ones to the front

If we stick with this though I agree with Horus that we need a better name than general, otherwise how will people know that the section forums are inside it

I have just added links to all sub-forums within the general forum into its description, so hope that makes things easier.

sorry - i'm more of a "build it and it will come"...

Without a clear structure, you will actually be putting people off...

I still think that General may not be the best name, though... maybe "General Scouting"?

Id prefer to use something a bit more 'creative' as the structure is Scout Forum->Scouting->General

If we see what names we can think of, as I definatly think the name could be improved.

nothing wrong with restressing the point that it is General Scouting...
