Recently we changed the opening and closing ceremonys for the centenary.

We had a lodge leaders meeting so the beavers could decide what they wanted to do and one of the things we changed was using the flagpole.

We now use the flag, like cubs and scouts do to open and close the meetings.

Has anyone else ever tried this and what do people think?

haven't tried it, but I have allways wondered why not
