Essex Beaver Scouts are having a "big birthday bash" at Skreens Park later this year. I will be helping out as part of my Worldjam Unit, but an idea has been put forward that some friends and I run a circus skills activity station. I have flowerstcisk, I also am fairly competant at poi and diablo, and several of my friends have talents including poi, diablo, juggling, plate spinning and stilt walking, so we culd easily get a good base running between us.

I'm just intrested to know of your opinions on this; do you think it's a good idea that the beavers will enjoy? How many of us do you think we will need to run a base? How hard do you think the beavers will find it? Has anyone tried it before and can pass on advice?

I think that they probably would enjoy it. My group has some spinning plates and diablos. Although it is mainly our Scouts that use the equipment, my Cubs have also had a shot and enjoy giving things a shot.
At our last District camp these were made available to them by another group and they all enjoyed it.
No harm in trying!
