I think it depends more on the shop you are getting them from rather than the warrant. Over the years I've bought from four places and only one of them actually asked to see my warrant. The others were happy when I said I was a Leader.

Officially you need a Warrant so I would think that a temporary one would count as it just means they haven't got round to doing the paperwork for your full one yet.

Yep should be no problem, I've not been asked when buying badges before. Anyway just call whoever looks after them, and ask!
