I am about to Invest my first group of children coming up from Cubs. They have attended my troop for four weeks. Can someone tell me is the process the same as investing a child from outside scouting? if Not how does it differ?

As far as I remember its the same, but you don't give them a new necker or badges. You swap the plastic cub woggle for a scout one.

It is basically the same, I tend to give out new badges if the old ones are getting a bit tatty, which can happen once they've been through the wash a few times.
The only difference is that if they are coming up from Scouts they should get their Moving On Award, which they would not get if joining from outside of Scouting
