Title: Christmas Troop Night

stuart111_2000 - November 26, 2007 02:02 PM (GMT)
Hello All,

I am running our First Christmas Troop Night, and was wondering if anyone had any activities we could do with a christmas theme?

Thanks

Is this for the last meeting before christmas, or are you having a party on the last week?

Id take them bowling or to the cinema, maybe give it a twist.

Then, Id arrange a christmas party. Let the scouts bring in a party game to play and get them to bring in party food and have a nice evening.

Martyn I love your scout hut with the massive signs on the walls! That must have taken some effort.

MartynEveritt - January 1, 2008 08:45 PM (GMT)
We did the paintings by projecting the image onto the walls, it was a question of being bold enough to make the images really big, the cub one goes across the main doors. The lighter colours on the walls did cause a cleaning problem but we varnished all the walls up to waste hight and that made it practical.

How do other groups decorate thier walls?

You can see all the wall illustrations here

Very nice!

Shame we meet in a church hall.

I hope they don't decide to change the logos.
