The target audience is primarily scout parents, secondly the beavers, cubs, scouts, explorers and network, and thirdly as an advert to encourage other young people and adults to join all sections.

The information is normally updated a few times a week. There are 10 sectional diaries.

The site includes a record of the group's people and events over the past 100 years. There are over 4,000 images and videos displayed in 1,300 web pages with various indexes and search tools.
