Our Group is using the theme of the World Wide Family of Scouting. My Scout troop has been given Europe.

I am struggling to come up with Ideas for them to perform on St Georges Day.

Does anyone have any Ideas?

How about something to do with the Europian Union?

At many of the St Georges Day Parades I have attended, the Scouts and leaders renew their promise. This year do it it another European language.

Last year we walked over Ashdown Forest (Heathland) and renewed our promise in the open air, St Georges Day 2007. (With coconut shells for sound effects while walking!)

This year we are walking through the town to the town's central Green where we will renew our promises at a brief service, we will have St. George on horse back and a Dragon (Chinese style) as part of the parade.
