Well who would have thought it.Nice day and all these Young People out on the Streets.And do You Know there were no feelings of hostility,threat or anxiety.Not from the public anyway some Scouts I spoke to said they felt self conscious about being seen in uniform ? However there were so many Scouts out that to be a Young Person not in a Scout uniform was in some ways rather strange.I was able to bring My Clinical skills into play when a young Scout was hit on the head by a falling flag which had been carried by a Cub and another Scout slipped of the curb and twisted His ankle.The Service I attended included Camp Fire songs and Gang Show numbers and I even got to read poem which was in the form of a frantic mobile call from a Supermarket by a Boy who didn't know which tin of soup to buy !! This Evenings Clinic has been very busy and although there has been three of us seeing patients the numbers seemed to rise at about seven o'clock.It's going to be a long night......Dr.Stu..
