Title: If You Had Your Own Tv Channel
Description: What would be your schedule
Keith - November 30, 2005 11:51 AM (GMT)
If you had your own TV channel, and you could get any programme from any other channel, what shows would you put and in what time slots. Using the time scale from 6PM to midnight. Make sure you include some sort of news programme during the evening. Also assume that progrmmes from the BBC have no adverts in and programmes from other channels do.
Here is my schedule:
6PM - The Simpsons
6.30PM - The News
7PM - EastEnders - old episode
7.30PM - EastEnders
8PM - The Bill
9PM - Casualty
9.50PM - News update
10PM - Little Britain
10.30PM - Dead Ringers
11PM - Have I got news for you
11.30PM - Late night film
Horus Kol - November 30, 2005 06:09 PM (GMT)
1800 Star Trek (cycle the series Monday to Friday)
1900 Simpsons
1930 Futurama
2000 Stargate: SG-1
2100 Little Britain

Nice. Buzzcocks is good, with Mark Lamarr.

mine would have to be an evening of comedy.
As for news, it would have to be a satirical news program.
Including,
have i got news for you
buzzcocks
maybe a little little britain
dead ringers
just fill in the blanks for me :)

| Ai! |
I thought you spent all your time watching that BBC Parliament channel?!!!!! :P
millsy_l - March 7, 2006 02:12 PM (GMT)
The programming would just have to include Dead Ringers, one of the best TV shows that I have seen for a while. I especially like John Culshaws depiction of George Bush. That has me laughing every time.
Dr_Pepper - March 7, 2006 03:44 PM (GMT)
Did you see Bremner Bird and Fortune the other night, it was hillarious they had "Dick and Don in da Pentagon" (Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld) they had a competition to see whether Dick could differentiate between a quail and his best friend :D
Smiler - March 8, 2006 06:48 PM (GMT)
I would have to make myself the star of the channel if i had my own channel
millsy_l - March 8, 2006 07:50 PM (GMT)
I never thought of that idea Smiler!!! Red Dwarf would also have to be shown. Classic show.
Keith - March 9, 2006 05:25 PM (GMT)
I recon Sky+ is the nearest we will get to our own channel.
Eyeball - March 14, 2006 03:45 PM (GMT)
If you are lucky enough to afford it!

How? Where? What?
I can only record on the 5 standard channels.
Toni - March 17, 2006 09:35 PM (GMT)
ummm, my dad ordered it for so i don't know where he got it from. it cost me just over £200 but it can hold 100 hours of tv on it and i can transfer stuff to my computer as well. if you want to know more i can find out, but he's out at the moment.
